Extended Preview Trailer for a 120-Minute Script
After the real-estate market crashed in 2008, I wrote a spec script called FORECLOSURE about a young female real estate agent who gets trapped inside one of her short-sale listings that is haunted by the ghosts of the home’s previous owners. Then I shot this extended trailer to shop the script around Hollywood.

90-Minute Spec Feature for a 120-Minute Script
I wrote the ENDZONE feature script and then shot a truncated version of the movie as a “Spec Featurette” that would be easier to shop around to Hollywood prodcos. It garnered a lot of interest from Billy Crudup’s team and then was in the process of being optioned by Ryan Reynold’s shingle. But when he renegotiated his first look with the studio, they returned the property to me before we could finalize anything. And then he was off to do some “lighter” material so they said they would circle back, and well, that’s why it’s still a “spec!”
